- Vaccination, desexing and vet records gathered where available
- Honest notes on behaviour, triggers, children, cats, dogs and separation anxiety
- Council registration status checked for your local government area
- Photos show the real animal clearly, not just cute angles
Ask before handover
Questions are a safeguard, not micromanagement
- Who lives in the home, including children and other animals?
- Where will the animal sleep, eat and spend most of the day?
- What happens when you travel or work long hours?
- Which vet will you use, and are you happy for records to transfer?
- Are you comfortable with the pet’s known needs, costs and behaviour?
- Can we pause if either side feels rushed?
