About Perth Safe Pet

Our mission

To make buying, selling, and rehoming pets in Perth safe, calm, and kind. We do that by verifying people (not just listings), guiding conversations, and refusing to profit off animals.

Structure — honestly

Perth Safe Pet is being set up as a mission-driven, non-distribution Australian entity. Incorporation is underway — the final structure will be a company limited by guarantee or an incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (WA), with a constitution that prevents profits being distributed to any individual.

Perth Safe Pet currently operates under Australian Data Removal Pty Ltd · ACN 695 272 836 while the dedicated mission entity is being incorporated.

Where you see the phrase "mission-driven, not-for-profit intent" on the site, that is a description of how we operate — not a claim of registered charity status. If we later register with the ACNC, we will say so plainly on this page.

How we fund it

Pet listings are free forever. Everything else — how we cover costs, the fees, the GST handling, and where any surplus goes — is laid out on the support model page. Nothing hidden.
